Innovation Projects Officer
UGent TechTransfer supports researchers in transferring academic knowledge to industry and society. Within TechTransfer, the Industrial Research Fund (IOF) team coordinates valorisation projects focused on proof-of-concept development and commercialisation. Ghent University is looking for an Innovation Projects Officer to support this work.
Role
You support IOF project advisors in portfolio and project management, analyse project outputs to assess socio-economic impact, assist in dossier processing and reporting, contribute to the strategic positioning of IOF funding, and collaborate closely within the IOF coordination team and UGent TechTransfer.
Profile
Master’s or PhD degree (preferably Life Sciences); experience in an academic or industrial research environment; interest in data analysis and valorisation projects; strong communication skills; critical and responsible mindset; fluent in Dutch and English; team player.
Offer
A full-time fixed-term contract (maximum 1 year), competitive salary, opportunity to gain expertise in technology transfer, and start as soon as possible.
