Intellectual Property Advisor
UGent TechTransfer Office supports researchers in bringing innovations
to society. To strengthen its Intellectual Property team, it is looking for an IP Advisor in the life sciences.
Role
You identify and protect valuable research results, assess patentability
and market relevance, manage patent applications, support IP aspects
in valorisation projects, and help raise IP awareness within UGent.
Profile
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biological/Biomedical Sciences or Health Sciences; strong interest in academia–industry collaboration; excellent English; organised communicator; independent and team-oriented; patent experience is a plus.
